The meaning of lifeSince the dawn of time, the ultimate question has been asked in a number of ways. Why do we exist? What is the meaning of life? Does God exist? What is the origin of the universe? How does the world exist, and what is its origin or source of creation? Why is there something rather than nothing?This site offers you the possibility to discuss this fundamental metaphysical question with others. It also allows you to share your opinion and react to other people's points of view. What do you believe in? What do you think is the meaning of life?
Whether you are a believer, an atheist, an agnostic, or a clever mix of all three, you are welcome! Your point of view can be serious, absurd, even bordering on completely nuts. However, the following two things are essential to this dialogue: respect and an open mind.
Respect: you may defend your opinion and try to prove the falsity of another, but it is forbidden to attack its author directly. Fascism and generalisations are strictly verboten! An open mind: if you can't handle having your convictions being put into question, this might not be the place for you. For this same reason, a sense of humour is highly recommended! If your beliefs forbid their being made fun of, you might not want to participate in this dialogue. You don't have to register in order to be able to comment or to start a new thread. We do, however, highly recommend that you register. By doing this, you can easily look up everything you've posted and, if you like, modify it. Internet is a new thing here, started about one year ago. We here were very far removed from the outside world before the internet arrived just how far removed can be explained liked this : We only found out about world war two after it had finished and the only reason I even have a computer is because a tourist who came to visit the island gave it to me.
So what does this have to do with the meaning of life the universe and everything, well I use to not even think about this sort of stuff I use to just live, you know survive, But now what with all this new tech stuff like the internet, cell phones and so on and hearing how crap the rest of you guys have it out in the outside world I started to wonder. Maybe there was more to life than planting food for a week relaxing doing what ever I wanted for 4 months or so waiting for it to grow and then picking it and eating it and then re planting it etc.
That was my down fall, as I now know, you see where as before I never thought of what the answer was because I was living it, yep living the answer. Now I started trying to work out the answer clouded by all the crap I now new was out in the world, Thankfully I pulled my head in and re focused.
The answer is difficult to say in words but I'll give it a shot.
: Build your shelter.
: Plant your food.
: enjoy your life.
: love yourself and the others around you for there good and bad points.
: Forget about the crap that you get feed by people that want to stop you living the answer (as this only leads to you thinking the answer and not living it.)ps these people generally are the people who think they are in charge of you I say think as the power over you, YOU control not them. Any power they have you gave them.
: don't be to hard on yourself, nothing last forever even the feels you may have about yourself today will change.
: remember change is the way of the universe and will always happen
: be nice to people this will help them to be nice to others and will improve the world alot.
Basically simplify your life, live your life, enjoy your life, don't hurt others, use your common sense, don't give other people power over you, and have a nice day.
